Shipping questions
Do you deliver outside Malta?
- Yes. 3DOME Malta ships across the European Union. Tell us the delivery address when you ask for a quote and delivery is priced together with the job.
Will I pay customs or import duty on an order from Malta?
- No. Malta is a member of the European Union, and goods moving between EU member states pass no customs checks and attract no import duty. An order from Mosta reaches Milan or Munich the way an order from Turin would.
How is VAT handled for business buyers in other EU countries?
- It depends on the buyer and the order, so we confirm the VAT treatment on every quote before you commit. If you are buying as a business, include your company VAT number with the enquiry.
How do you make sure printed pieces survive the journey?
- By designing for it. Where a piece is going by courier we adjust the geometry — thicker at stress points, no fragile projections — and large pieces can be printed in sections that assemble at the other end. Tell us the destination at the brief stage and it is built in from the start.
Why order from Malta rather than from a supplier in my own country?
- For most standard parts, a printer near you is the obvious choice. 3DOME is worth comparing when the work is custom or personalised, when you want design and production handled by one English-speaking team inside the EU, or when you are moving small production runs out of Asia and want an EU supplier without customs, import duty or long sea freight.
