3DOME has been three companies in three cities, and one idea throughout: that if you can describe an object, someone should be able to make it for you.

3DOME started in Dubai with three printers and no catalogue. Every job arrived as a problem: a part nobody sold, a shape nobody made. Beginning there rather than with a product line is why one piece for one person is still a normal order here, not an exception.

Milan
Milan backs things before they look sensible.
Then Milan — a city that takes on what the rest of the world still finds outlandish and waits for it to become obvious. Making one-off consumer objects this way was exactly that at the time: a novelty rather than a business. Milan treated it as one early. Those years gave us our finishing standards and the Italian production partners we still work with.

And now, home.
Malta was in the name from the start. 3DOME was named for the Mosta dome years before there was a workshop within sight of it — first from Dubai, then from Milan. The printers now run a few streets away. Made in Malta stopped being an intention and became an address: design, printing and finishing in one place, by a team you can visit.
